![]() ![]() Kallamar grabbed the closest tool at his disposal and swiftly turned to its source- finding himself face-to-face with the Lamb once again. His panicked thoughts promptly ceased when his failing ears caught the light rustle of grass behind him. “My crown!” the squid cried out, “Where is my crown?!” “No, no, no! This can’t be! What did that infernal lamb-” Kallamar’s tentacles climbed up from his face to the top of his bare head. “No,” he hissed, tugging at the ragged robes that draped over his body. His new form was much smaller, much more inferior. Panic ripped through his chest as he examined the rest of his body. However, he saw that instead of a blackened claw, aged from eons of control over his sect of the Old Faith, he found tiny, teal tentacles. Kallamar reached out to examine one of the tools. Among his surroundings were various medical instruments- those he once found adorable when his followers wielded them for their scale alone. And for some reason, he felt… significantly smaller than before. Instead, he sat alone in a tiny leaf hut. There was no sea-filtered light, no vibrant gems, not even the gentle brush of seaweed to greet him. As his vision cleared, the squid found himself in an entirely unfamiliar environment. Kallamar felt the warmth of sunlight filtered through leaves on his face and a gentle cool breeze graze across his skin.īut how? Kallamar swore he could still feel the chilling embrace of death grappling him as he sat up from his little bed. ![]() Once everything went black, Kallamar was promptly sent back to the start of the battle to do it all over again. And the battle would finally finish with the adversary standing above Kallamar’s broken and bloodied body. Death glimmered in their dark eyes as if they were honored- if not overjoyed- to serve the will of The One Who Waits below.īlades were drawn. The Red Crown stood vividly against the pale limestone and the glimmering greens and blues of the deep-sea temple. The Lamb approached Kallamar and his followers in the belly of his temple. The battle itself already felt like an eternity. Each cycle unchanging, and his soul ignorant to his eternal torment. ![]() And as punishment, he was forced to relive his death. The squid god of pestilence, Kallamar, had been slain by the insolent Lamb. ![]()
